Assistance Center for Warriors at the Kyiv Regional State Administration is being created to address issues of social assistance and rehabilitation of those who took participated in the war in Eastern Ukraine (also referred to as the anti-terrorist operation)

Assistance Center for Warriors at the Kyiv Regional State Administration is being created to address issues of social assistance and rehabilitation of those who took participated in the war in Eastern Ukraine (also referred to as the anti-terrorist operation)

Goal
To unite the efforts of government institutions, civil organizations and other organizations to effectively solve problems facing our warriors

Center's Structure

  • Coordinator of joint efforts between central and local government authorities and city self-governing organizations
  • coordinator of social assistance and work with volunteers
  • coordinator of legal assistance
  • coordinator of medical assistance and social adaptation issues

The number of coordinators may be increased

Gathering and processing of information related to social protection of warriors and their families

  1. Creation and use of a 24-hour hot line (call center) to implement the Degree of the President of Ukraine dated March 18, 2015 Number 150/2015 "About additional actions regarding social protection of participants in the antiterrorist operation"
  2. Polling of demobilized active duty servicemen with the goal of studying and characterizing their problems and issues, that will be shared with the Center's coordinators

Addressing problems and issues relating to demobilization based on the place of residence

  1. Coordinators, based on their competencies, will take steps to address violations made during the polling.  Coordinators will work together with the regional, district government administration, and self-governing institutions, and central executive authority bodies to address the violations
  2. The Director of the Center and coordinators will periodically visit the demobilized at their places of residence

To reach each family

Monitoring of the progress of resolving issues.  In the future the center will provide cooperation with the demobilized and their families

The Administration of the President of Ukraine will support the activities of the Assistance Center
